Hahnemuhle mould-made Bugra papers, named after the Book and Graphics trade fair in Leipzig in the 1920s. Produced on a cylinder mould machine, it is a 100% alpha-cellulose, duo-surface paper, with a laid, toothy texture on one side, and a smooth texture on the other, which gives it its distinctive surface. Such surface variety lends itself to a variety of medium including multiple printing techniques, dry painting & drawing, ink, calligraphy, pastel & painting. Bugra also comes into its own when used as lining paper for framing purposes as well as an endpaper in bookbinding and conservation. Acid-free and age resistant.
